Job summary

VoltaGrid, LLC in Midland, Texas is seeking a Field Engineer, Electrical or Mechanical to own the technical and operational performance of designated power generation and natural gas assets.

You will lead troubleshooting, coordinate maintenance, analyze reliability data, and drive safety and uptime while collaborating with plant personnel and customers. This on-site role requires strong technical leadership and the ability to travel to other VoltaGrid facilities as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in power generation or industrial operations.
• Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical plant systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for plant operations and act as primary technical point of contact.
• Monitor plant performance and respond to interruptions and faults.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts and coordinate corrective actions to restore service.
• Conduct root cause analysis for disruptions and incidents.
• Develop corrective action plans and reliability improvement recommendations.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture at the facility.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and best practices.
• Oversee maintenance activities, inspections and lifecycle management.
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize availability.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams during commissioning and operations.
• Analyze operating data and reliability trends to identify improvement opportunities.
• Prepare operational reports and compliance documentation.
• Provide technical guidance to personnel and contractors.
