Job summary

Hadron Energy, Inc. is seeking a Lead Electrical Systems Design Engineer in the United States to lead AC/DC power architectures for advanced nuclear projects. You will coordinate with I&C, mechanical, and licensing teams to ensure compliant, safe, and cost-effective electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 10 years in electrical power systems design or related areas.
• PE license or eligibility strongly preferred.
• Experience with NRC/IEEE standards and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical systems design team for AC/DC architectures.
• Direct design, specification, and integration of electrical generation and distribution systems.
• Develop equipment specs and design requirements for generators, transformers and switchgear.
• Perform analyses, sizing calculations, and power flow assessments for reliability and efficiency.
• Interface with NRC and other regulatory bodies on licensing and basis documents.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with multiple internal/external teams.
• Participate in design reviews, FAT, testing programs, and startup planning.
