Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 6 years of design engineering experience in power generation or nuclear power, with at least 2 years in a lead/supervisory role.
• Professional Engineering License is required.
• Advanced knowledge of applicable codes and standards.
• Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time; travel duration may vary by project.
• Ability to obtain unescorted access to a nuclear power plant.

Responsibilities

• Unit Leadership & Management: direct/assign work, approve timesheets/expenses, conduct performance appraisals, recruit staff.
• Quality Control & Technical Oversight: uphold unit quality, certify designs per codes, provide technical leadership.
• Project Management & Client Relations: meet budgets/schedules, approve engineering docs, develop client relations.
• Staff Development & Performance: coach staff, support licensing, training and qualifications.
• Administrative Support: support staffing plans and company procedures.
