Job summary

Blue Origin seeks an experienced Systems Engineer (Electrical) to own subsystem requirements for launch pad electrical systems on New Glenn assets. You will interface with EGSE/DSCE teams, coordinate verification, and support cross-functional design reviews with controls, avionics, and fluids engineers.

You will travel up to 25% to collaborate across facilities, guide test activations, and ensure alignment with safety standards throughout the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on systems or design engineering experience with electrical focus.
• Experience in requirement management and cross-discipline collaboration.
• Able to travel up to 25% and communicate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Co-lead assessment and definition of electrical subsystem solutions for the Launch Pad.
• Serve as SE focal point for one or more C3 subsystems with designers.
• Electrical ground support equipment design and documentation.
• Own verification planning and coordination for electrical systems.
• Plan and coordinate subsystem test/activation with Operations Team.
• Contribute to design reviews with rigor for electrical systems.
• Flag risks related to C3 or cross-discipline integration.
• Support milestone design reviews with other SEs (controls, avionics, fluids).
