Job summary

Blue Origin seeks an experienced Systems Engineer focused on electrical subsystems for New Glenn launch pad infrastructure. You will own requirements, drive cross-functional design/development with EGSE/DSCE teams, and guide verification planning across controls, software, and structures.

The role demands collaboration with EGSE/DSCE designers, participation in gated design reviews, and travel up to 25% to support operations and testing activities.

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical subsystems and SE lifecycle.
• Ability to collaborate across controls, avionics, fluids and structures.
• Familiarity with aerospace safety standards and verification methods.

Responsibilities

• Co-lead assessment and definition of electrical subsystem solutions for the next-generation Launch Pad.
• Serve as the SE focal point for one or more C3 subsystems with designers.
• Electrical ground support equipment design and documentation.
• Own verification planning and coordination for electrical systems and interfaces.
• Plan subsystem test/activation with the Operations Team.
• Contribute to design reviews with technical rigor across disciplines.
