Blue Origin seeks a seasoned Systems Engineer to support New Glenn across subsystems with a focus on requirements definition, validation, and verification. You will implement SE practices from system to lower levels and coordinate multi-discipline teams to achieve robust, verifiable solutions.

The role emphasizes gate reviews, health metrics, and rigorous configuration management, ensuring traceability and effective risk management throughout the program.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial engineering or similar.
• 5+ years in systems engineering with growing scope.
• Experience across full SE development cycle.
• Familiarity with multiple functional areas (mechanical, fluids, structures, avionics, etc.).
• Proficient with SE tools such as DOORS/DNG, ETM, Windchill, Cameo.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and operate New Glenn system engineering processes across the program.
• Ensure consistent implementations from system to lower program tiers.
• Support requirements definition, validation, and verification of requirements.
• Perform functional, safety, and performance analyses; monitor technical health.
• Participate in gated reviews and drive health metrics to milestones.
