Job summary

Harbinger Motors Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Engineer in California to define high- and low-voltage system requirements for a BEV platform.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and optimal energy management across electrical systems. Responsibilities include documenting architectures, writing requirements and test plans, and shaping charging interfaces and vehicle power modes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
5+ years in automotive systems engineering with BEV focus.
Strong BEV, HV/LV, energy management, and charging system knowledge.
Experience with ISO 26262 and safety standards.
Familiar with vehicle communication protocols and testing.

Responsibilities

Define HV/LV system architectures and power budgets.
Write requirements, fault-management strategies and tests.
Collaborate with Powertrain, Battery, Harness, Safety and Software teams.
Define charging protocols, power modes and state transitions.
