Job summary

Potomac Testing, a TechPro Power Group Company, is seeking a Sales Executive to strategically grow and manage business relationships in the electrical services industry. This role focuses on Acceptance Testing, Utilities, Large Data Centers, and collaboration with Major Electrical Contractors, with preference for experience in Preventative Maintenance and Switchgear.

The position requires cultivating new opportunities, traveling within the Texas territory, and delivering strong sales performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience in technical sales may substitute.
• 4–7+ years in technical sales in electrical services.
• Strong background in electrical services; NETA experience preferred.
• Able to read electrical drawings and RFIs/RFPs.
• Proficient in MS Office; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships with established customers to uncover new business opportunities and expand existing accounts.
• Identify and target potential new customers across Construction, Commercial, Data Centers, Energy Services Companies, and Industrial sectors to drive market share growth.
• Promote and implement new growth initiatives for Potomac Testing.
• Close sales efficiently, aligning with sales goals and the budgetary needs of customers.
• Provide the team with valuable market feedback, including competitor pricing, products, and programs.
• Travel throughout the sales territory as needed to engage with customers and prospects.
• Manage and strengthen customer relationships, ensuring long‑term satisfaction and repeat business.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, including prospective close dates, won/lost information, and potential sales figures.
• Report regularly on progress and market insights to the Management team.
• Assist in collecting payments if necessary.
• Collaborate closely with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of service solutions.
