Job summary

Potomac Testing is seeking a Sales Executive to strategically grow and manage business relationships in the electrical services industry. The role focuses on Acceptance Testing, Utilities, large data centers, and collaboration with major electrical contractors in the Jeffersonville, OH area.

The ideal candidate has 4–7+ years of technical sales experience in electrical services, a strong background in NETA testing, and a proven track record in meeting sales goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Business, Marketing or related field.
• 4–7+ years of relevant technical sales experience in electrical services.
• Strong background in electrical services; preference for NETA or similar.
• Solid understanding of NETA Electrical Testing and Maintenance.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals for the region.
• Experience reading electrical drawings and project specifications.
• Experience preparing quotes and responding to RFIs/RFPs.
• Self-motivated with a proven sales track record and knowledge of electrical equipment.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Able to work with operations team and maintain clear communication.
• Willingness to travel and perform site visits; PPE-compliant.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships with established customers to uncover new business opportunities and expand accounts.
• Identify and target potential new customers across Construction, Commercial, Data Centers, and Industrial sectors to grow market share.
• Promote and implement new growth initiatives for Potomac Testing.
• Close sales aligned with goals and customer budgets.
• Provide market feedback on competitor pricing, products, and programs.
• Travel throughout the sales territory to engage with customers and prospects.
• Maintain accurate CRM records including prospective close dates and sales figures.
• Report progress and market insights to Management.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure seamless service execution.
