Job summary

Potomac Testing, a TechPro Power Group Company, seeks a Sales Executive to strategically grow and manage business relationships in the electrical services industry. This role targets opportunities in Acceptance Testing, Utilities, Large Data Centers, and collaboration with Major Electrical Contractors.

Ideal candidate has 4–7+ years in technical electrical sales, strong communication, and a proven track record in meeting sales goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute.
• 4–7+ years in a technical sales role within electrical services.
• NETA or similar industry experience preferred.
• Knowledge of NETA Electrical Testing and Maintenance.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and project specifications.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships with established customers to uncover new business opportunities and expand existing accounts.
• Identify and target potential new customers across Construction, Commercial, Data Centers, Energy Services Companies, and Industrial sectors to drive market share growth.
• Promote and implement new growth initiatives for Potomac Testing.
• Close sales efficiently, aligning with sales goals and the budgetary needs of your customers.
• Provide market feedback including competitor pricing, products, and programs.
• Travel throughout the sales territory as needed to engage with customers and prospects.
• Manage and strengthen customer relationships, ensuring long-term satisfaction and repeat business.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the company CRM, including prospective close dates, won/lost information, and potential sales figures.
• Report regularly on progress and market insights to the Management team.
• Collaborate closely with the operations team to ensure seamless execution of service solutions.
