Job summary

Potomac Testing is seeking a Sales Executive to strategically grow and manage business relationships in the electrical services industry. You will cultivate relationships with established customers, target potential buyers across multiple markets, and promote growth initiatives while aligning sales with budgets and timelines.

The role requires 4–7+ years in technical sales, strong electrical services knowledge, and the ability to read drawings and prepare quotes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience considered in lieu of degree.
• 4–7+ years in technical sales in electrical services.
• Strong background in electrical services; NETA preferred.
• Solid understanding of NETA Electrical Testing & Maintenance.
• Proven ability to meet/exceed regional sales goals.
• Experience reading electrical drawings and project specs.
• Proficient at preparing quotes and RFIs/RFPs responses.
• Excellent presentation and written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage relationships with existing customers to grow business.
• Identify and target new customers across Construction, Commercial, Data Centers, and Industrial sectors.
• Promote and implement growth initiatives for Potomac Testing.
• Close sales meeting goals and customer budget needs.
• Provide market feedback to management on pricing and programs.
• Travel within territory to engage customers and prospects.
• Maintain CRM records with prospective close dates and pipeline figures.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Report progress and market insights to leadership.
