Job summary

Intertek in Menlo Park, CA is seeking a Senior Sales Representative to drive new business and expand existing accounts within the Electrical team. The role requires substantial field work, client visits, and trade-show participation.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of B2B/B2C sales experience, CRM proficiency, and strong communication skills. The position is in-office (not remote) with travel up to 50% and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of prior successful sales experience.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Experience with B2B or B2C sales.
• Proficient with CRM tools.
• Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Sell Intertek’s services within assigned vertical, territory and accounts.
• Collaborate with Sales Manager to define territory and grow sales.
• Spend at least 50% outside interfacing with clients.
• Meet with customers through presentations and trade shows.
• Write and follow up on proposals with pricing.
• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Log activity into iConnect and meet activity targets.
• Prepare sales reports and forecasts.
