SynchroGrid seeks a Mid to Senior Electrical Engineer to independently apply standard engineering techniques for complex protection problems. You will develop relay settings for SEL, GE, ABB, and other manufacturers, and perform power system analyses.

You will coordinate with project engineers and clients, prepare NERC compliance reports, and apply NEC/NESC/NEMA/IEEE standards while visiting job sites as needed.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited) or related Engineering Tech degree.
• 7+ years of experience required; exceptional candidates with 5+ years considered.
• Experience with relay manufacturers such as SEL, GE, ABB.
• Strong communication and client service skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and manage relay setting development for SEL, GE, ABB, and other relay manufacturers.
• Develop short circuit analysis and coordination studies.
• Perform relay mis-operation and arc flash analyses.
• Conduct and review NERC compliance verification reports (PRC standards).
• Coordinate projects and communicate with clients and project engineers.
• Apply engineering software for ground grid design, load flow and protection tasks.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEEE and ANSI standards.
• Occasionally visit job sites and support project activities.
