Qualus Corporation, a leading power systems engineering firm, seeks a Principal P&C Engineer to lead protection and control design within the Project Management Organization. The role emphasizes high-quality engineering, cost control, and client satisfaction.

You will drive complete relay and protection packages, mentor engineers, and present technical solutions to customers. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential for project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; engineering technology not accepted.
• Fifteen (15) or more years electrical engineering experience with protection and control focus.

Responsibilities

• Develop complete engineering design packages for protective relaying and communications systems.
• Provide technical direction and on-the-job training to drafters and engineers.
• Build trusted relationships with senior management and clients.
• Present technical solutions to customers and respond to questions clearly.
• Lead by assigning tasks and mentoring junior engineers.
• Ensure QA/QC processes are followed on protection and control activities.
