Job summary

Michels Power, Inc. seeks an Electrical Project Manager to lead heavy industrial electrical and instrumentation projects across North America.

You will oversee planning, coordination, and execution from startup through turnover, focusing on safety, schedule, budget, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include managing budgets, procurement, subcontractor coordination, and contract administration while collaborating with engineers, field teams, and executives to deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Project Management, Business, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of project management experience in industrial electrical and instrumentation construction.
• Experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Procore, and Autodesk Construction Cloud is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of project execution from award through commissioning, startup, turnover, and closeout (PM role).
• Manage budgets, forecasts, schedules, procurement, contracts, change orders, and financial performance.
• Develop execution strategies for safety, quality, schedule, and profitability.
• Serve as primary customer-facing representative throughout project execution.
• Coordinate activities among customers, engineering, field operations, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Identify risks, constructability issues, schedule impacts, and develop solutions.
• Ensure compliance with specifications, safety standards, and company policies.
• Promote a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.
• Lead customer meetings, forecasting reviews, and project updates.
• Review contracts, drawings, specifications, estimates, and technical docs.
