Job summary

Upgrade Resources is seeking a Project Manager/Senior Project Manager for electrical construction in Texas. You will lead projects from scope through closeout, manage budgets up to $10 million, coordinate with field teams, clients, and architects, and drive safety and quality on site.

The role spans defined portions of projects or full engagements, with title and compensation aligned to experience. A strong background in electrical systems, NEC codes, and subcontractor management is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or construction science, or commensurate experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of electrical construction project management on commercial/industrial projects.
• OSHA-30 certification or ability to obtain within six months.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, NEC codes, and procurement practices.
• Strong project management skills across documentation, cost control, scheduling, and change orders.
• Ability to develop client and design-team relationships and new business opportunities.
• Eligibility to work in the United States; sponsorship is not available.
• Experience with projects valued at $10 million or more (preferred).
• PMP or related certification (preferred).
• Bilingual English and Spanish (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide management direction on electrical construction projects with accountability for scope, budget, schedule, quality, and safety.
• Lead projects with the superintendent and coordinate project development.
• Evaluate scope and staff key project positions.
• Serve as primary client contact and attend progress meetings.
• Negotiate and issue subcontracts; manage subcontractors and vendors.
• Maintain master schedule and variance reports to control schedule and budget.
• Manage contracts costs, billings, and change orders; pursue additional work.
• Develop new business opportunities for clients and geographies.
• Ensure document controls comply with contract requirements through closeout.
• Mentor assistant PMs and project engineers.
• Ensure compliance with safety programs and applicable codes.
