Job summary

Upgrade Resources in Carrollton, TX is seeking a Project Executive - Electrical to lead large electrical projects on-site, owning profitability and guiding project managers, engineers, estimators, and superintendents from pursuit through closeout.

The role requires 15+ years in electrical construction, a 4-year degree, OSHA-30 certification, and strong leadership and communication skills; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of electrical construction operations experience.
• 4-year degree in engineering, business administration, or construction management.
• OSHA-30 certification or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience leading hyperscale data center, hospital, life sciences, or other large projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead large electrical projects from pursuit through start-up and closeout with full accountability for financial outcomes.
• Participate in pre-construction activities, understand owner needs and help close new work.
• Lead turnover between pre-construction and operations teams.
• Set project milestones and assign qualified staff.
• Monitor performance of project managers, superintendents, and staff.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Ensure current financial and project reports are accurate and accessible.
• Visit project sites to review performance, schedule and expenditures.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Attend owner and project meetings and maintain client contact.
• Mentor staff and foster a cohesive, team-oriented group.
