Job summary

Upgrade Resources is seeking a Project Manager / Sr PM - Electrical in Texas. You will lead electrical construction projects, manage scope, budget, and schedule, and serve as the primary client liaison across markets from North Texas to the Gulf Coast.

Openings span Project Manager and Senior PM levels, with compensation aligned to experience and market benchmarks. The role requires a 4-year engineering degree or commensurate training, 3+ years of electrical PM experience, OSHA-30, and US work

Qualifications

• 4-year mechanical or electrical engineering or construction science degree
• Minimum 3 years electrical construction project management experience
• OSHA-30 certification or ability to obtain within six months
• Experience with projects valued up to $10 million
• Authorization to work in the United States; sponsorship not available
• Experience with design-build or design-assist delivery
• Experience in hyperscale data centers, hospitals, life sciences, or semiconductors

Responsibilities

• Provide overall management direction on electrical construction projects, from defined scope to $10M+ projects
• Lead project team with superintendent and control project development
• Evaluate scope, plan staffing, and coordinate with client, GC and design team
• Attend progress meetings and maintain master schedule and variance reports
• Negotiate, prepare, and issue subcontracts; manage subcontractor performance
• Manage costs, billings, collections, and change orders; pursue additional work
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with codes; closeout documents and as-builts
• Mentor and supervise junior PMs and engineers
