Job summary

CEC, a leading specialty subcontractor, seeks an experienced Project Manager for electrical construction. You will lead strategic and day-to-day operations, maintaining budgets, timelines, and profitability while guiding project administration.

Responsibilities include managing client relationships, supervising staff, and ensuring safety, quality, and timely project completion. Travel to sites may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred; high school diploma required.
• Minimum of 10 years PM experience in electrical construction; knowledge of scheduling, equipment and methods.
• Proven ability to develop relationships and win projects.
• Experience mentoring and managing others.
• Business development and heavy client interaction experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational oversight in client management, procedures, financial and reporting issues, and workforce planning.
• Promote growth and development of client relationships.
• Manage workload and development of project management staff.
• Maintain positive customer relations with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Manage monthly project reviews to ensure schedules, quality, safety, administration, and profitability.
• Analyze personnel availability and assign project needs.
• Participate in meetings to secure new work.
• Manage change orders and customer relations.
• Represent meetings, interviews and networking events.
• Oversee project close-out meetings and verify data sheets and photos.
