Job summary

Romanoff Group is seeking an Electrical Project Superintendent - Multi-Family to oversee day-to-day activities on a single project, coordinating with many partners and ensuring quality, safety, and on-schedule delivery. You will read plans, supervise crews and subcontractors, and maintain compliance with NEC and local codes while managing materials and site safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in the Electrical trade.
• Minimum 8 years of installation experience in the Electrical trade.
• Thorough understanding of electrical installation practices, industry standards, and applicable code requirements.
• Thorough understanding of residential and commercial new construction processes, including sequencing and timing of inspections and quality control procedures.
• Ability to effectively supervise, coordinate, train, mentor, and develop field personnel, installation crews, subcontractors, and punch mechanics.
• Ability to identify problems quickly and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Ability to oversee and coordinate multiple people, projects, and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and project quality standards.
• HVAC Required: read and interpret plans, specs, shop drawings, duct layouts, and installation instructions.
• Electrical Required: understand electrical construction industry and troubleshoot faults.

Responsibilities

• Read plans, specifications, and construction documents to determine scope, materials, equipment locations, and installation requirements.
• Supervise and provide directions to installation crews, field employees, punch mechanics, and subcontractors.
• Serve as the competent person on site for safety, production, leadership, and client contact.
• Identify tools, materials, and equipment for safe and efficient completion of tasks.
• Identify and mitigate safety risks per safety policies.
• Complete operational, production, and safety documentation (JHAs, inspections, progress reports, as-builts).
• Collaborate with general contractors, project managers, inspectors, and trade partners to meet schedules and codes.
• Coordinate and prioritize activities to support production schedules and deadlines.
• Inspect work for quality, code compliance, and timeliness; recommend corrective actions.
• Walk job sites to monitor progress and address deficiencies.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites and proper material storage.
• Provide on-site leadership to field personnel and subcontractors.
• Manage jobsite materials (takeoffs, ordering, receiving, inventory, storage, distribution).
• Be dependable and professional in all interactions.
• Willing to follow safety regulations and project policies.
• Be able to travel to jobsites and transport tools and materials as needed.
