Job summary

AE2S is seeking an Electrical Senior Project Engineer to lead electrical design and project delivery for water and wastewater infrastructure across multiple locations. You will manage client relationships, oversee execution, and provide technical leadership in power systems, instrumentation and controls, and SCADA.

You will guide projects from planning through construction, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and adherence to high-quality standards that support critical municipal and industrial

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of electrical system design experience in water/wastewater.
• PE registration or ability to obtain.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical engineering principles and standards.
• Experience leading mid-level and senior staff on complex projects.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Advanced knowledge of power distribution, lighting, and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior‑level electrical engineering and project management leadership for complex water and wastewater projects.
• Lead and support business development efforts to drive local and regional growth.
• Serve as technical leader, applying expertise across project teams.
• Design and oversee electrical systems, ensuring compliance with codes and client requirements.
• Conduct research and feasibility evaluations for new electrical technologies.
• Lead large‑scale electrical design projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and monitoring.
• Provide quality control and quality assurance for electrical designs and specs.
• Mentor and oversee engineers and staff to ensure successful delivery.
• Collaborate with subconsultants to deliver integrated solutions.
• Manage client relationships, proposals, and pursuit of new opportunities.
• Coordinate meetings with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
