Job summary

AE2S is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead design and delivery of electrical systems for water and wastewater infrastructure across multiple locations. You will drive power distribution, lighting, I&C, and SCADA, while mentoring engineers and coordinating with subconsultants.

The role emphasizes delivering high-quality, reliable infrastructure from planning through construction, with emphasis on safety, compliance, and long-term performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required.
• Minimum 10 years of electrical system design experience.
• PE licensure or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical engineering principles, standards, and regulations.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; capable of guiding mid- to senior-level staff.
• Experience with distribution, lighting, I&C, and SCADA systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design and project delivery for complex infrastructure projects.
• Serve as technical lead across power distribution, lighting, I&C, and SCADA systems.
• Manage projects from planning through construction (scope, schedule, budget, quality).
• Build and maintain client relationships while supporting business development.
• Provide QA/QC oversight on electrical designs, drawings, and specifications.
• Mentor and guide electrical engineers and technical staff.
• Collaborate across disciplines and with subconsultants to deliver integrated solutions.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve electrical system performance.
