Job summary

Weston Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to coordinate project execution from design through construction and warranty. You will lead engineering tasks, check designs, and manage budgets and schedules across diverse environmental and infrastructure projects.

The role requires a PE license, 10+ years of electrical experience, and proficiency with CAD tools (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation) and power studies (SKM/ETAP). Travel to multiple US locations may be necessary.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering with at least 10 years of experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer with ability to obtain registration in additional states.
• Experience with medium-voltage electrical systems, including utility interconnections, substations, switchgear, protective relaying, underground distribution, and power system studies (SKM, ETAP, EasyPower).
• Knowledge of EVSE, microgrids, solar energy facilities, backup generators, backup battery systems, or data centers is a plus.
• A DoD security clearance is required or the ability to obtain one.
• Proficiency with CAD programs (AutoDesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD) and 3D CAD modeling is a plus.
• OSHA 40/HAZWOPER certification and 8-hour refresher training preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project execution and control to meet scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality goals.
• Lead planning and development of engineering tasks for proposals and projects.
• Supervise design teams and check work of staff assigned to projects.
• Prepare or check calculations, design drawings, specifications, and basis of design.
• Develop bids, evaluate quotes, and manage subcontractors and vendors.
• Respond to client RFPs with technical approaches and pricing.
