Job summary

Weston Solutions, Inc. seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead planning and execution of electrical projects from proposal to warranty.

You will perform designs, technical studies, construction drawings, and quality control plans while coordinating with clients, regulators, and contractors. Responsibilities include supervising design teams, ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery, and contributing to safety and quality goals across multiple sites, including Austin, TX.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering with at least 10 years of experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer with active NCEES account and ability to obtain registration in additional states.
• Experience with medium-voltage electrical systems including interconnections, substations, switchgear, and protection.
• Knowledge of EVSE, microgrids, solar facilities, backup generators, or data centers is a plus.
• DoD security clearance is required or the ability to obtain one.
• Hands-on CAD experience: AutoCAD, Civil 3D; 3D CAD a plus.
• OHSA 40-hour HAZWOPER and 8-hour refresher training; OSHA 10/30 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project execution with scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality goals.
• Lead engineering task planning and development for proposals and projects.
• Produce designs, calculations, drawings, specs, Basis of Design, QC plans, and reports.
• Supervise design teams or field staff during investigations and construction.
• Review work and approve subcontractor and vendor quotes; manage scopes of work.
• Engage with clients on methods, equipment, and lifecycle support.
