Job summary

Weston Solutions, Inc. seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead design and project execution from proposal through construction and warranty. You will coordinate engineering tasks, ensure scope, schedule, budget, safety and quality, and communicate with clients and regulators.

The ideal candidate has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, 10+ years of experience, a PE license, and hands-on experience with medium-voltage systems, CAD tools, arc-flash studies, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering required with 10+ years experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer with ability to obtain registration in additional states.
• Experience with medium-voltage electrical systems and studies.
• Knowledge of EVSE, microgrids, solar facilities is a plus.
• DoD security clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Cad tools: AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD; 3D modeling a plus.
• Familiar with MicroStation and ArcMap is a plus.
• Experience with design/construct QC in USACE projects is a plus.
• Ability to mentor staff and manage budgets/schedules.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution coordination to meet scope, schedule, budget, safety and quality.
• Oversee design decisions and quality control for projects.
• Estimate and track deliverables, costs, and progress for clients.
• Direct engineering staff and field personnel during design and investigations.
• Prepare or check calculations and select equipment/materials.
• Respond to client RFPs with technical approach and pricing.
• Lead design and construction project development, staffing, and mentoring.
• Complete arc flash studies and produce labeling language.
• Maintain health and safety best practices and training compliance.
• Travel to multiple project sites as required.
