Job summary

Weston Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead project execution from design through warranty, coordinating engineering tasks and ensuring scope, schedule, budget, safety, and quality. You will prepare designs, calculations, and specifications while guiding a team of engineers and technicians.

Location options include Lakewood, CO or multiple other U.S. sites; remote workers will be considered.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering with at least 10 years of experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer with active NCEES account.
• Experience with medium-voltage electrical systems and related studies.
• Knowledge of EVSE, microgrids, solar facilities, backup power, or data centers is a plus.
• Ability to obtain DoD security clearance if required.
• Proficient in CAD tools and cost/schedule management.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and execution of electrical engineering tasks through proposal, design, construction, and warranty phases.
• Prepare calculations, drawings, specifications, and QC reviews.
• Direct engineers, technicians, and staff; manage design teams on projects.
• Coordinate with clients, regulatory agencies, and contractors on scope and schedule.
• Develop and review RFPs, bid packages, and subcontractor quotes.
• Perform arc flash studies and develop labeling language per code.
