Job summary

Stantec seeks a Senior Project Engineer, Electrical for Mission Critical Facilities to guide electrical design of data center projects. You will mentor the technical team, direct engineers and designers, and ensure quality throughout the design process to meet client needs and expectations.

The role offers opportunities to lead discussions with stakeholders, develop design guides, and stay current with industry standards. Open to multiple locations with a Stantec office presence.

Qualifications

• Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years related industry experience preferred.
• Mission critical / data center experience required.
• Registered professional engineer (PE) license or other professional certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assists the business development team in new project pursuits by providing input on RFPs/RFQs and participates in project interviews and presentations.
• Manages technical project process and scope of work within own discipline; reviews scope, schedule, and budget hours; resolves inconsistencies with project manager.
• Delegates tasks to project engineers and designers within own discipline as appropriate.
• Follows quality management process; conducts project reviews and approvals before QA/QC reviews.
