Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for Mission Critical Facilities to lead technical design of data center projects. You will guide project engineers, mentor staff, and ensure quality from concept to completion.

The role involves coordinating with stakeholders, advancing design guides, and staying current with industry standards and technologies. Open to multiple Stantec offices, with emphasis on OH/DC locations.

Qualifications

• Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years related industry experience preferred.
• Mission critical / data center experience required.
• PE license or other professional certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist business development with RFPs/RFQs and project interviews.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget within own discipline.
• Delegate tasks to project engineers and designers as appropriate.
• Lead QA/QC reviews and ensure design quality.
• Maintain strong client relations and clear communication with stakeholders.
• Lead technical discussions and integrate design across disciplines.
• Mentor junior staff and supervise design team.
