Sargent & Lundy is seeking a senior electrical engineer to conduct detailed electrical analyses and studies for diverse power projects. The role combines analytical work with client interaction and occasional on-site consultations.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in electrical analysis, a strong background in power systems, and proficiency with ETAP, SKM, PSCAD, and EMTP-RV. A hybrid work arrangement is available to balance office and remote work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or higher; Master/PhD preferred.
• 10+ years electrical analysis experience.
• Experience with power-system analysis software (ETAP, SKM, PSCAD, EMTP-RV).
• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Strong written and verbal communication; interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct relay setting and power system studies.
• Perform arc flash, cable ampacity, transient, harmonic analyses.
• Support substation, transmission, conventional, nuclear, and renewable projects.
• Travel to client offices/sites for on-site consultation.
