Job summary

WHOOP is hiring an Electrical Engineering Lead to guide the development of a next-generation charging platform for wearable technology. Based in the Boston office, you will own electrical system architecture and lead a small team while remaining deeply hands-on in design and problem-solving with cross-functional partners.

You will set technical direction, balance electrical and product tradeoffs, and work with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Firmware to deliver a scalable, robust user

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of electrical engineering experience with hardware ownership from architecture to production.
• Strong fundamentals in circuit design, power management, mixed-signal electronics, and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Lead system architecture and technical direction from concept through validation, NPI, and high-volume production.
• Manage and develop a small team of electrical engineers with mentorship and career growth.
• Hands-on contributions to architecture, circuit design, prototype bring-up, and debugging.
• Define product architecture with Systems, Mechanical, Firmware, and Product teams.
• Lead electrical design decisions across power, charging, protection, connectivity, and PCB design.
• Drive tradeoffs among electrical performance, mechanical constraints, cost, manufacturability, and schedule.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Supply Chain to scale designs to production and support partners.
• Travel up to 15% domestically and internationally.
