Job summary

WHOOP is seeking a Staff Electrical Engineering Lead to guide electrical development across our wearable hardware platform from our Boston office. You will own critical electrical decisions, drive performance, reliability, and cost‑efficiency, and partner with cross‑functional teams to scale production.

You bring 8+ years in electrical engineering, a strong foundation in analog/digital/power/mixed‑signal design, and a track record delivering hardware at scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering across product development and/or high‑volume manufacturing.
• Strong foundation in analog, digital, power systems, and mixed‑signal design.
• Experience delivering hardware at scale and mentoring engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of electrical engineers with technical direction and mentorship.
• Act as technical lead across hardware programs, balancing hands‑on work with strategy.
• Architect and validate low‑power, low‑noise, mixed‑signal electronics in compact form factors.
• Drive product performance, design for manufacturing, reliability, and cost reduction.
• Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams.
• Own electrical development across the product lifecycle.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement validated solutions.
• Coordinate with suppliers and contract manufacturers to improve yield.
