Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking an Electrical Superintendent for Battery Storage projects. You will interface with craft supervision and subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence on complex BESS installations.

Strong field leadership and coordination with construction teams are essential to drive on‑time project delivery. The role requires extensive experience in electrical construction, a focus on safety, and the ability to manage multiple subcontractors across busy sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction field leadership.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements including background checks and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Track, verify, and report Battery Storage (BESS) electrical construction activities against the CPM schedule, including milestones and installation progress.
• Lead foreman and subcontractor meetings for daily/weekly/monthly planning.
• Develop and monitor the 3-week look-ahead schedule for assigned work scope.
• Create corrective plans to meet progress and productivity targets.
• Monitor materials, manpower, and resources for the look-ahead schedule.
• Oversee equipment installation and subcontractor punch list activities.
