Job summary

Bechtel Corporation seeks an Electrical Engineer to provide technical direction for electrical activities on the Thacker Pass project in Nevada. The role involves supervising direct hire and subcontractor teams, coordinating daily activities, and ensuring electrical work aligns with project standards.

The position reports to the Lead Electrical Field Engineer and supports design coordination, field changes, and quality control while contributing to safety and installation improvements on site.

Qualifications

• Bechtel seeks candidates as a university hire with 1–2 years of experience or with 5–6 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with Bechtel direct hire craft is preferred.
• Familiarity with Bechtel Standard Applications (BSAPs) including ACONEX, TEAMWorks, Bechtel Productivity System, PTR, eSub is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with supervision on daily work activities, schedules, and material needs.
• Assist with electrical work packages and field changes; support inspections and documentation.
• Support material take-offs, requisitions, and delivery follow-up.
• Review drawings and specifications to support field activities; assist with construction estimates.
