Job summary

Dematic is hiring for an on-site role focusing on the installation and commissioning of material handling equipment. You will ensure high-quality installations, coordinate safety, and support customers on site.

The position requires substantial travel (up to 100%), experience with electromechanical systems, and OSHA 10 certification. A strong background in QA and ability to lift 50 lbs are essential.

Qualifications

• Ten years of troubleshooting electromechanical equipment; service in AGVS/AS/RS or conveyors is helpful.
• High school diploma or equivalent; an Associate’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• Quality assurance proficiency with OSHA regulations; OSHA 10 is required, OSHA 30 preferred.
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs and work weekends/holidays/off shifts; overtime may apply.
• Proficient with PCs, databases, and communication tools; hardware and software setup knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Ensure installation quality on project sites, following QA checklists.
• Coordinate on-site safety, conduct regular safety audits.
• Assist with routine equipment trials; verify installations meet standards.
• Provide on-site reporting on schedules and resources to managers and customers.
• Train subcontractors in installation of Dematic and other equipment.
• Write concise trip reports per Dematic procedures.
• Identify and troubleshoot problems; propose resolutions.
• Be prepared to travel up to 100% of time to customer locations; travel expenses covered.
• Navigate large construction sites requiring physical endurance.
