Job summary

Dematic is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to ensure quality, safety, and on-time execution of electrical installation projects on site. This hands-on role coordinates both in-house and outsourced work, performs quality checks, supports equipment trials, and provides clear reporting to project managers and customers.

The position requires extensive travel, adherence to Dematic standards, and the ability to lift at least 50 lbs while performing field tasks.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience troubleshooting electrical equipment.
• Experience with AGVs, AS/RS, or conveyors preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and perform on-site tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure installation quality on project sites, including both manufacturing and subcontractor work.
• Complete quality checklists and submit corrective actions when discrepancies are identified.
• Maintain on-site safety, including performing safety audits and enforcing standards.
• Assist with routine equipment trial runs to verify specifications and accurate installation per Dematic standards.
• Provide on-site reporting on schedule, resources, and project status to project leads and/or customers.
• Train and support contract labor and subcontractors in installation of Dematic and other material handling equipment.
