Job summary

Comfort Systems USA seeks an experienced Foreman Electrician to lead a crew of Journeymen, Apprentices and Helpers on commercial/industrial electrical installations, alterations and repairs. You will oversee scheduling, material planning and ensure work meets NEC and local code requirements.

You will read project documents, coach team members, and collaborate with supervision to meet production and budget goals while maintaining safety on site.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Demonstrates leadership abilities with the capability to grow as a mentor/coach for a crew of five.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, project specifications and schematics.
• Communicates effectively with other trades and supervisors on site.
• Ability to read construction documents and follow schedules.
• Willingness to work weekends and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure high quality workmanship and adherence to standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team and manage material lists.
• Measure, cut, install conduit and terminate electrical devices and panels.
• Troubleshoot lighting and power circuits on site.
• Follow local codes and NEC guidelines.
