Turner Construction Company is seeking a Senior Estimator for its Advanced Technology Group, supporting Data Centers and critical facilities across the United States. The role can be performed remotely from any location in the U.S.

and reports to the Preconstruction Manager / MEP Manager. You will lead estimating for complex projects valued at $25M+, focusing on Electrical, Technology, and Low Voltage systems, and coordinate with vendors, owners, and project teams to develop accurate cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum of 8 years of estimating experience in Electrical, Technology, and LV systems.
• Extensive knowledge of Electrical, Technology, and Low Voltage systems.
• Ability to develop advanced cost scenarios from contract documents, drawings, specs, and schedules.
• Leverage vendor, trade partner, and project team relationships to improve service.
• Strong project management skills and ability to multitask under deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; professional presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimating responsibility for complex Mission Critical, market segment, and Government projects $25M+.
• Communicate estimates and scopes to stakeholders including staff, architects, engineers, and owners.
• Prepare quantity take-offs, analyses, estimates, and studies for Electrical, Technology, LV systems.
• Analyze site conditions and contract documents to determine required scope.
• Develop supplier and bidder lists; solicit current pricing for lighting, equipment, and LV systems.
• Build and maintain qualified bidder list with trade partners.
• Perform constructability analysis and communicate issues to project team.
• Provide first costs analyses and life-cycle analyses with the design team.
• Lead preconstruction integration with Operations staff; support project hand-off.
• Coordinate pricing with sources for Electrical, Technology, and LV estimates.
• Evaluate subcontractor proposals for scope coverage and gaps.
• Prepare and assemble estimates and proposals for lump sum, GMP, or Cost Plus contracts.
