Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks a National Mechanical Estimator for its Advanced Technology Group. The role can be performed remotely from anywhere in the United States, supporting Data Center, Pharmaceutical, Industrial/Manufacturing, and EV/Battery/Renewables markets.

Prepare detailed estimates for Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Electrical, Technology, and LV systems, including take-offs, cost analyses, and life-cycle considerations, from concept through CD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, technology, and low voltage estimating experience.
• Knowledge of MEP systems and ability to read contracts, drawings, and specs.

Responsibilities

• Communicate mechanical scopes to Turner staff, architects, engineers, and owners.
• Prepare quantity take-offs, estimates, and studies for Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Protection systems.
• Develop relationships with local suppliers and trade partners to source pricing.
• Perform constructability analysis and value analysis with project team.
