Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced Mechanical/Plumbing/Fire Protection Estimator to prepare detailed estimates for complex data-center projects. The role focuses on MEP systems from concept through construction documents, with collaboration across design teams and owners.

The position can be performed remotely from any location in the United States, with reports to Preconstruction/MEP Managers. A Bachelor’s in a related field and 8+ years of estimating experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related field required.
• Minimum 8 years of related Mechanical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection estimating experience.
• Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimating for complex Mission Critical, GMP, and Government projects.
• Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates for Mechanical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection items.
• Coordinate with vendors to obtain current pricing and bid proposals.
• Communicate estimates and scopes of work to stakeholders (Turner staff, architects, engineers, owners).
• Support preconstruction hand-off to operations and development of scope requisitions.
