Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a preconstruction estimator specializing in Electrical, Technology, and LV systems. You will develop estimates from design through construction documents, coordinate with architects, engineers, and owners, and build a reliable bidder network.

You will work under the Preconstruction Manager/MEP Manager, prepare life cycle analysis when needed, and help transfer knowledge to operations. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or related field plus 3+ years of estimating experience.
• Knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, technology and LV systems.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with vendors and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Communicate electrical estimate and scopes of work to Turner staff, architects, engineers, and owners.
• Prepare quantity take-offs, analysis, estimates for Electrical, Technology, and LV systems through design to construction documents.
• Develop relationships with suppliers and bidders to obtain accurate, current pricing.
