Job summary

InServ is seeking a Lead Electrical Estimator to develop accurate estimates for electrical scopes on industrial and commercial construction projects. This role will lead, mentor, and train a team of estimators, building the team’s capabilities to complete detailed estimates.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and prior experience leading estimators. GMP-regulated project experience is preferred and required for advancement within the team.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of electrical estimating experience with lead or senior responsibilities.
• Ability to mentor, train, and develop estimators to work independently.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and installation methods.
• Proven ability to read one-line diagrams and project documents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for electrical systems.
• Develop labor, material, and equipment pricing for low-voltage, controls, instrumentation.
• Review subcontractor/vendor pricing and develop bid packages.
• Lead, mentor, and train a team of estimators to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate with design/engineering and procurement on scope and buyout.
