Job summary

InServ Corp. in North Carolina seeks a Lead Electrical Estimator to drive accurate, competitive estimates for complex industrial and commercial projects.

This hands-on leadership role combines technical estimating with mentoring, process improvement, and building the team’s ability to independently deliver high-quality estimates. You’ll own detailed takeoffs, develop labor, material, and equipment pricing, review diagrams, and coordinate with design, engineering, procurement, and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent field experience.
• Experience leading estimators or teams.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems and construction practices.
• Proficiency with estimating software and MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed electrical quantity takeoffs and cost estimates.
• Develop labor, material, and equipment pricing for power, lighting, and controls.
• Review and QA/QC estimates for accuracy and completeness.
• Mentor and train estimators and standardize estimating procedures.
