Summit Line Construction, Inc. in the Las Vegas area is seeking an experienced Electrical Senior Estimator to join our estimating team.

The Cost Estimator is responsible for preparing and overseeing the preparation of accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for complex electrical infrastructure construction projects. This role requires a bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering, 3+ years in electrical estimating, and proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction cost estimating, with a focus on electrical infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Extensive knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Professional Estimator) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Scope Analysis: review project plans and specifications to understand scope.
• Cost Estimation: prepare detailed estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Collaboration and Communication: work with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
• Data Analysis and Improvement: analyze historical data to improve future estimates.
• Compliance and Standards: ensure compliance with regulations and manage change orders.
• Proposal and Bid Preparation: lead bid reviews and submit proposals.
• Mentorship and Leadership: mentor junior estimators and provide training.
