Job summary

Summit Line Construction, a Quanta Services subsidiary, is seeking an experienced Electrical Senior Estimator to join our team in the Western region. You will prepare and oversee comprehensive cost estimates for complex electrical infrastructure projects, analyzing plans and specs to determine labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs.

As a mentor to junior estimators, you will lead bid reviews, collaborate with project managers and engineers, and ensure estimates are competitive and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years in construction cost estimating, with focus on electrical infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Extensive knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
• Certifications such as Certified Professional Estimator are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans and specifications to understand scope and pricing.
• Prepare and oversee detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Analyze historical data to improve future estimates and develop weighting criteria.
• Mentor and guide junior estimators and lead bid reviews.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure accurate, competitive estimates.
• Manage change orders and cost-to-complete estimates on ongoing projects.
