Job summary

Summit Line Construction in Las Vegas seeks an experienced Electrical Senior Estimator to prepare comprehensive cost estimates for complex electrical projects. The role mentors junior estimators and ensures estimates align with company standards and client expectations.

You will analyze plans and specifications, oversee labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs, and collaborate with project teams to deliver competitive bids.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction cost estimating, focusing on electrical infrastructure.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Extensive knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Professional Estimator) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans and specs to understand scope of work.
• Prepare and oversee detailed estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Perform material, labor, and equipment take-offs and cost analyses.
• Develop and maintain cost databases and apply historical data to improve estimates.
• Lead bid reviews, proposals, and client communications.
