A well-established utility contractor is seeking an Electrical Estimator to support high-voltage and distribution projects. You will be responsible for developing accurate cost estimates, compiling bid packages, and conducting site visits. The ideal candidate has at least 7 years of electrical estimating experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical estimating, preferably within utility-scale T&D projects.
Proven ability to read and interpret utility plans, one-line diagrams, and construction drawings.
Knowledge of regional utility standards and pricing structures preferred.
Responsibilities
Perform detailed takeoffs and develop cost estimates for electric transmission, distribution, and substation projects.
Compile bid packages and summary sheets for review by management.
Conduct site visits as needed to support estimate development and risk analysis.
