Job summary

Summit Line Construction, a Quanta Services company, seeks an experienced Electrical T&D Senior Estimator to join our team. The role involves traveling to project locations and working on-site for durations, with potential moves between sites as needed.

You will prepare and oversee cost estimates for complex electrical infrastructure projects, mentor junior estimators, and ensure competitive, compliant bids.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction cost estimating for electrical infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Extensive knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Professional Estimator) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze project plans to understand the scope.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment and subs.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accuracy.
• Lead bid reviews and prepare proposal documents.
• Mentor junior estimators and develop the estimating team.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.

Education

Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
