Job summary

Hunt Electric in Minnesota is seeking a Senior Estimator to coordinate with Business Development and Project Managers for complete electrical estimates, focusing on commercial projects with occasional healthcare, industrial, and mission critical opportunities. You will own the estimate end-to-end and mentor teammates for accuracy and timely delivery.

Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, leading bid reviews, developing scopes, and collaborating across teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in electrical conceptual estimating, low voltage estimating, NEC requirements, and design/build estimating.
• Experience training and mentoring Estimator I and Estimator II.
• Strong estimating software skills and proficient Excel use.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings and prepare complete electrical estimates.
• Lead bid reviews and optimize bid strategy.
• Develop scopes of work and organize estimates for large projects.
• Mentor estimating staff and collaborate with BD and PM teams.
