Job summary

SEC Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to lead estimating efforts across commercial, industrial, and design-build electrical projects in the United States. The role focuses on delivering accurate, competitive bids, mentoring junior estimators, and supporting key business decisions with risk assessment and cost analysis.

Responsibilities include reviewing RFQs/RFPs, managing schedules, communicating with clients, validating takeoffs, and leading bid reviews.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in the electrical construction industry.
• Proficiency in interpreting drawings, specs, and cost data.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate, competitive estimates for electrical projects from simple to complex.
• Review RFQs, RFPs, and bid invitations to assess scope, risk, and feasibility.
• Manage estimating schedules, workflows, and timelines to meet objectives.
• Communicate with clients to clarify scope and support relationships.
• Validate takeoffs to ensure alignment with drawings and specifications.
• Prepare bid packages and supporting documentation.
• Lead internal estimate reviews and validation meetings.
• Mentor junior estimators to improve team performance.
