ASHFORD CONNEX, LLC, based in Houston, TX, seeks an experienced Sr. Electrical Estimator to support large-scale industrial EPC and data center projects nationwide.

This full-time role onsite involves collaborating with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to deliver accurate, competitive estimates. Candidates should have a strong electrical construction estimating background; data center experience is not required but beneficial.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating electrical construction projects.
• Ability to interpret complex drawings, specs, and bid documents.
• Knowledge of electrical materials, installation methods, and labor requirements.
• Experience with quantity takeoffs and subcontractor bid evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical and instrumentation estimates for complex construction projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine scope and requirements.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and calculate material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations for accuracy and competitiveness.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams throughout the bidding process.
• Analyze labor productivity, material pricing, and project-specific cost considerations.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and project walkdowns.
• Develop proposal documentation and final bid packages.
• Maintain historical cost data and support improvements in estimating accuracy.
